The self-propelled option is an add on and can be fitted to a wide range of harvesters. It consists of two electric hub motors fitted with tractor grip tyres, plus two battery boxes and controls.

The self-propelled system is very powerful and can push the harvester through muddy paddocks, up steep hills or up loading ramps onto a vehicle.
On some harvesters the batteries act as a counter weight making it easier to wheel around
Lithium-ion batteries give high power and endurance
Hub motors are compact, thereby avoiding damage or soiling to the crops
