The Basel sprayer will allow you to quickly and easily spray and control hard to reach weed species.
The Basel sprayer has a long boom handle making it easier to reach into inaccessible areas. The spray head has been made as compact as possible and the skid will make it easier for inserting and removing from target plants. The shield will contain the spray and minimise any overspray or drift.
Basel Bark herbicide treatment is a control method in which an oil soluble herbicide is mixed with an oil carrier instead of water and applied directly to the bark in the lower trunk area of woody plants, in this case, less than 50mm in diameter
It is used to help control woody weeds (i.e. Old Mans Beard, Wilding Pines etc.). An important aspect of biodiversity protection requires the killing of invasive plant species to favour the growing of desirable plants. For woody weeds, this is best achieved by killing them in place with herbicides that do not affect the surrounding vegetation. The Basal Sprayer allows you to do this.

After each use:
Flush the applicator, boom and sprayer head and clean feed tube thoroughly.
Remove the feed hose from applicator and suck in a small quantity of NJ Phillips Lubricant into the cylinder.
