The HT–Straddle Trimmer (HT-ST) has been designed for trimming bushes, vines or hedges to shape. The HT-ST comes with the option of fitting collection bags to gather cuttings for planting out.
The HT-ST power heads can also be removed and spray apparatus can be attached making this a handy piece of equipment to keep your bushes, vines and hedges healthy.

The Cutter bar should be lubricated with food grade lubricant whenever refuelling and before storing. (Use Ochiai original grease, this can be ordered by using the form on the Contact page.)
Silicon lubricants can be applied to hinge points, sliding areas etcetera. A drop of oil should be applied to the throttle cable at each end before storage.
Annually check cutter bar bolts for wear and replace nuts, bolts and washers as required. Sharpen the cutter bar if required. (Rarely required)
