Salad Tray Harvester

The Salad Tray Harvester is used where the operator brings plant trays to the harvester. The power head cuts and blows the cuttings up a chute and into bins. A conveyor moves the product trays under and past the cutter head which is fully height adjustable.

Typical crops they harvest include loose leaf salad plants and low growing herbs such as Thyme, Rocket, Arugula, Baby Spinach, Baby Greens, Cress, Endive, Mache, Mizuna, Mesculin, Romaine, Spinach, Tatsoi, Baby Beet, Mache, Micro Greens and others.  The Salad tray cutter can also be used for topping seedlings and taking cuttings for propogation.

The Salad Tray Harvester is custom made to suit the customer’s requirements. Petrol engines or electric motors can be used and either manual or powered conveyors. Available in a range of cutting widths.
