The HT - Calla harvester can be used to harvest a variety of crops. Its motorized hedge trimmer cuts the crop near ground level, at either a floating or preset height. As its name suggests, the HT - Calla was originally built for pruning calla & canna lillies near ground level after their flowering season. The geometry of the HT - Cala overcomes the problem of cutting thick stemmed plants.

  • General trimming: pruning low crops or shrubs to height

  • Herb harvesting: will straddle the row, cutting the crop to a uniform height

  • Clean-up: cutting rank grass or surplus vegetation

  • Adjustable wheel track from 1250 mm up to 1500 mm (typical tractor wheel track)

  • Straddles the crop, the operator able to also walk in a wheel track, so no plant damage occurs allowing a second crop to grow

  • Adjustable wheel height, allowing for raised beds, with adjustable cutter bar height between 20 mm to 580 mm above wheel ground level

  • Fully adjustable operator controls / handlebars allow controls to be set to best advantage for the operator, with throttle and engine stop activated from the operator’s position and the operator able to walk directly behind the harvester or walk offset in a wheel track

  • Frame is fully zinc plated for low maintenance

  • Wheels have quick release pins allowing compact storage or easy transporting in a vehicle
